Surrendering Is Free Inc. is dedicated to improving the quality of lives of those most vulnerable in our society.
We provide relief in all phases of families in need during a crisis
Our mission is to provide a holistic and compassionate approach to serving the increasing numbers of vulnerable individuals in our society. We aim to support substance and domestic abuse victims, people who need help managing mental health, and those in need of transitional housing.
Since 2020, we have focused more of our efforts on youth suicide prevention and helping them with emotional and behavioral difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our purpose is to renew the livelihood of victims and families affected by the crisis.
We want to do what we can to rid our community of hunger. SIF Family Services provides warm meals and non-perishables to those in need. Our Priceless Closet program provides clothing for every age, size, and occasion.
Recognizing that there is a problem is half the battle. SIF Family Services provides recovery programs that will allow individuals to regain their life from addiction. We also see that the number of young people have started to abuse substances and have expanded the ages.
Helping can be contagious and we encourage that by having those who receive help to turn around and give some help right back. We all have a talent, gift, or a little bit of time. As we continue this cycle we can extend the reach of our helping hands.
See what we do everyday and interact with us
SIF Community Services provides food and shelter to those in need. Hunger is a serious problem in our community and we want to do what we can to help feed those in need with non-perishables and on occasions warm meals. We recognize the importance of not only feeding the body but feeding the spirit as well. By providing clothing we are able to boost confidence, keep warm, and begin to turn a corner in life.

Through SIF, our students can find a safe place to find help, hope, and healing through engaging the recovery principles and growing in relationship with a Higher Power other than themselves. Ultimately, this ministry can help students learn how to break cycles of dysfunction and provide tools for them to live free and healthy lives.
As we continue to navigate through our present economic downturn there is a drastic rise in the demand for social services not only from those typically in need but lives lost and the overall social and economic impact due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. One thing is certain: that this unprecedented event will affect us all, and especially children and families in under-resourced communities who face the brunt of the societal and economic shutdown. Fiscal constraints and shifting government policies have had a direct impact on the ability of nonprofits to address the needs of those at risk for poverty, homelessness, sickness, or disability
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, there has been more of a need for help in the home. With job loss and no daycares available, making things work have been tougher than ever. SIF Crisis Services is here as a community partner to help connect those in need to what they need most.
